Our industry experience, commitment and professionalism is a reflection of our business philosophy in undertaking contracts to supply all types and ranges of cranes for the most prestigious projects in Malaysia which include the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Project, PSR II Petronas Refinery Project in Malacca and Shell Refinery Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan.

In 1995, ASIAGROUP obtained the contract as sole crane supplier to supply all ranges of cranes and transport vehicles to PERSPEC – TAISEI – KAJIMA – SHIMIZU – HAZAMA Consortium to build the RM 1.7 Billion main Terminal Building and Contract Pier for the biggest airport in the region -- Malaysia’s KLIA. About 50 units of cranes and transport vehicles from 25 ton Rough Terrain to Manitowoc 4100W-S2, 230 ton Crawler Cranes were supplied, until the year 1997.

Following this superb performance on ASIAGROUP’S part, we were once again awarded the contract to package supply 40 units of all ranges of cranes for the construction of the Satellite Building in KLIA to UEM-PNSB-HO HUP – TAKENAKA – SATO – MITSUI CONSORTIUM.

Over a period of more than 24 months, participating in the Construction of this new airport in Malaysia, ASIAGROUP garnered incomes of more than RM 28 Million

In 1996, ASIAGROUP supplied all ranges of cranes and transport vehicles to SATO KOGYO CO. LTD and NIPPON EXPRESS / CHIYODA for the PSR II Petronas Refinery Project in Malacca. A total of 25 cranes and transport vehicles were supplied to SATO KOGYO CO. LTD and about 12 Crawler and Hydraulic Truck Cranes ranging from 45 ton – 300 ton capacities, including a brand new MANITOWOX 888 Crawler Crane.

The involvement in supplying cranes and transport vehicles for both, the KLIA & Petronas Refinery Projects, have lead ASIAGROUP to be in a position to undertake any contract regardless of the quantity and capacity of cranes required for the job.
